Treatment

A wedding dress is not washed, it is restored

Pearls, sequins, tulle and corsetry each need something different. We secure the appliqués, treat every mark individually, and dry the dress flat.

FAQ

Questions about wedding dresses

Not covered here? Call us — you get an answer in a minute rather than through a form.

076 501 73 31
How soon after the wedding should the dress be cleaned?

As soon as possible. Perspiration, champagne and make-up oxidise and turn yellow after a few months, and then they often cannot be removed completely.

Will the lace survive?

Yes. We secure the appliqués first and treat lace by hand. Where stones are glued on rather than sewn, we tell you in advance what can happen.

Can you alter the dress as well?

Yes — shortening, taking in, adjusting straps, re-fitting corsetry, shortening the train. For that we book you a fitting.

How long does it take?

Allow five to ten working days. A wedding dress cannot be rushed.
